Do you "open carry" your Busse?

I've been carrying pocket folders for years. Now that I've discovered Busse knives (a week ago) and now I own five (!!!!!!!), I'm wonding how many carry an edc concealed or open on their belt. I really like the Game Warden model and that's what I've aquired so far. I've been carrying one on my belt for a few days now (legal in Texas), but I seem to get more looks from folks than usual (I think. Maybe it's just me). Just wondering what other people do. And thanks to all of you dealers who have already hooked me and made me a junkie!!!!!!!!! :):grumpy::D

This is how I carry my Game Warden. The double shoulder rig also carries a black oxide Leatherman Wave and a Surefire G3 with a Malkoff M60 drop in.

My knives ride in sheaths made by the best in the business, the ones that are HOGS. I'm so proud of the sheaths that I show them off. I have a special Culti that rides in a dangler from Dwayne that I proudly wear to church.

I wish I could here in CA but it is a big no no. Still waiting for the Busse Folder 5" blade version.

Wish I knew what the law was here in Chicago.
Its a bunch of mumbo jumbo, but basically says
you cant carry a fixed blade if you intend to use it to
hurt someone or commit a crime.
Its one of those things you gotta be a lawyer to
figure out.
Till I do,I carry my Warden or Horton concealed
in a pocket pouch.

Yeah, I left Chicago 21 years ago after spending 18 years there. All my family is there. I hate the Communist State of Illinois and the Dictatorship of Chicago. I'll never move back. I miss my family, but you couldn't pay me enough to live under the crazy rules that state has. I love Texas!!!!

BBT---your rig set-up is rock'n!

Thanks, did you get your setup from Oku yet? Looking forward to seeing pics.

That is BADASS. It even has a place for 3 extra cr123's

Yes, it even has adjustable tension for the batteries. I designed my rig to store the extra batteries because the Malkoff M60 drop in, while extremely bright, goes through batteries relatively quickly.

My SAR5

Legalize: Here in CO, that would be in violation of our laws

I carry my Culti or AD IWB, same way, SAR or Leaner or SJ depending on the local. Hell, my Jack Hammer rides comfortably there.

I've even asked my buddies here in Chicago who are pretty much all LEO and they just tell me if they can't see it, they arent going to question the average citizen. The old rule of thumb was 3 finger blade max.

I don't carry anything exposed unless i'm fishing/hunting or working in which case they are a tool. Otherwise these are too expensive to risk having them taken away. My two EDC's are a snake GWLE and a BCS Snake AD both in Armorall leather sheaths which i can carry vertical or horizontal. Excellent sheaths!

Depending on the situation I nearly always carry mine open in a belt sheath. My most carried is the Assault Shaker, Heavy Duty, and Culti.

I never really pay attention to how people react, but it might be worth watching. :D

LOL ..... Nothings changed either....... the mob guys are even jealous of the politicians!

I am blessed to live in Illinois as well so in the summer months I tend to wear a GW in an Okuden IWB/SOB rig with an untucked shirt.
When I'm feeling more daring  during heavy clothing months, I'll wear my AD in the same setup.

I was lucky enough to be randomly frisked once in Chicago while I was wearing my AD. The officer gave me a face to face belt line sweep around both sides of my waist...stopping just short of the AD that had shifted upright in my SOB...whew:o

Also, in the summer I prefer loose cargo style shorts and the AD and GW drop right into a leg pocket.

BTW, a BAe in an Okuden rig is also suprisingly concealable;)
