That's interesting stuff! Hope you get your EOW Knife! Imagine how great it will be to hopefully use it on 12-22-12.I've thought about ordering a sebenza in October, just so I could request it have a birthday of 11-11-11. And I plan to order a large '12 LE and beg Heather to get me an "end of the world" version. The Mayan calendar ends 12-21-12.
(Lisa - I'm not trying to hijack your thread, just always been into the dates)
I have a kid one the way, and I hope to be able to find one with that birthday on it, I'm going to give Chris a call after the birth to see if I can get one
This has me thinking about the new crop of Chris Reeve fans...you know the young whipper-snappers who are only about 10-15 years old now, they will be able to find one born the EXACT same day/year as them.
Right, for me it would have to be month and day only tooI don't believe Chris was making knives when I was born. If he was he looks really good for his age!
Very cool, not many flat grounds out there.I have a flat ground Sebenza that was made on the day my 9 year old son was born.
The fun thing is that for those knives Chris actually hand engraved the born-on date on the blade along with his signature.
Girlfriends come and go, knives stay in your pocket. My Insingo has the same B-day as my ex-girlfriend.![]()
Cool!I have a small Sebenza that was born on my 40th birthday.
I envy youMy large mammoth ivory is born on 6/8
