Do you own many Bucks, and what makes you like Buck knives?

Started my outdoors endeavors with buck knives. I am old school and love the 100's and folders. I have a few dozen but only accumulate what I like design wise. For me religion has nothing to do with any company. But I buy because it goes something like this Mom, Apple Pie, Chevrolet, Buck.

I have lurked around this forum for about 8 years and rarely posted but ITE made me feel bad last night during a phone conversation about not posting. So I will say I have probably between 1k and 2k BUCK knives. Been buying for a while. Have always loved and owned knives since a young boy but while working for JCP during 1970-1994 they carried some BUCK knives I bought a few. Always had the displayed on my desk and coffee table at work. After losing a chunk of change in the market I was sitting here at the desk and looked over at the one knife my wife has allowed me to display over the years. A yellow horse 102 from JCP. I determined that it would have been best to have bought a bunch of BUCK knives instead of stocks and mutual funds so I started on a buying spree and rarely slowed down.
This is my first attempt at posting a picture so it may not work. It should be a few of my Empress Trio sets although I have bought a couple of more since the picture.

Will add that I like the BUCK brand due to quality, history, variety and mainly the CHRISTain values for the Buck family.

Amen to that! And thank you for joining us and thanks to ITE for convincing you to. I look forward to reading and seeing all you have to share.

Holy jealous. Impressive and thanks for sharing. Myself... I only have one. A 119 from 1989. Bought it new and it's served me well. I only recently began collecting, but I do need to get a few more bucks into my collection. Love the classic design and the fact that's is made in the USA, has decent steel and is affordable. It's a compelling combination.

Wow! That is one of the most impressive collections I have seen! I checked out some of your other photobucket albums - AMAZING collection!
Thank you for sharing.
Do you want to sell anything? Just upgrade to a gold bf member! ;)

Thanks for your comments, I just realized the pictures were of my steak knives. Here is a picture of the Trio sets although I have bought a few more since the picture:

Tim, been around here for a long time...

:)

Had no logic or plan in my collecting. Just started buying most any knife with BUCK on the blade and forgot to stop :)

I have... a lot. Too many to take the time to count them. :)
Buck - American made (in my folks hometown I might add), great designs, great prices, great customer service, great warranty, owned by great Christian people.

Lance, you may have a large quantity of Buck Knives, but it's the quality of your collection that astounds me. Every time I see new photos of yours I am newly amazed.
