Both. My main purpose on this forum has been information, from which over time I have learned most of what I know about knifely topics, enough so that eventually I was able to contribute back a little. Not all incoming (or outgoing 
) info was dead accurate, but over time and with experience, things would eventually get sorted out. At the same time, I was aware of personalities expressed here. Although I'll sometimes engage in brief personal conversations, I don't think of forumers as friends, but as an electronic community to exchange pixels with about sharp stuff. In my real life, there is exactly nobody among family, friends and acquaintances that shares this interest, so I guess I'm stuck with you virtual knifeknuts. Might as well make the best of it.
