Do you play an instrument?

I've been a guitar player since the mid-70s. Acoustic "roots" music of various kinds. I flatpick and play fingerstyle and slide stuff as well. Got several guitars; including a Taylor acoustic and a cheap brass-bodied resonator and a whole pile of cigar-box instruments I build.
I recentlly acquired a "real" banjo as well, after playing my cigar-box banjo for a couple of years. Just an inexpensive "starter" instrument... I'm learning the old-type clawhammer style.

Played in bands for years (13 till about 24 yrs old).
Recently dusted off the acoustic to entertain the kiddies.

Don't play now, but when in school tried just about every band instrument before discovering that I had some talent for the trombone and the sax.

I have played trumpet and trombone, but right now I'm looking at starting to learn the drums.

I hump a big drum for the local pipe & drum band & just picked up the bass guitar again after about 30 years.

I've been playing guitars and piano about half my life, and been trying to pick up drums lately :)

I've played guitar for about 15 years, but for the last year I've been playing ukulele more than anything. I can't put that little thing down! :)

I also picked up a vintage clarinet recently, so I may begin learning how to play that as well.

Played drums and rhythm guitar for different bands. Still have 1965 and 198x Slingerland sets and three guitars but haven't played in years.

I wanted to play the saxophone in elementary school, but got the trumpet instead. Wish I would have stayed with it. I'm trying to get motivated to play the harmonica, and would like to learn how to play the guitar.

I picked the trumpet back up about a year and a half ago, play around with a harmonica once in a while, and by coincidence, was thinking about giving the ukelele a try- any advice?

I've played the piano for 9 years. It had to make way for a fireplace though, since I don't play on it anymore.
I might pick it up in a few years, who knows.

For your edification.... Here's me playing one of my cigar box instruments with a tune I wrote...

That's neat. The fret pattern looks about like a dulcimer fret layout if I see it right. I play dulcimer (duck slammer) and harmonica, neither one have ever earned me a nickel but I have played for people. I think if I was busking they might leave my wife sympathy cards. I am thinking about making myself a dulci-jo so I can plays it Bo Diddly style like you. The slide technique works good with that, delta blues sound.
