Do you re-oil your blade during outings?

I generally don't use protectants at all on EDC folders I use for food prep mainly because most of the steels I am carrying have exceptional corrosion resistance on their own (like M390) and how often I am washing the knife off both prior to and after usage. With the few EDCs with slightly lesser corrosion resistance like a ZDP-189 Delica I have, I've used their normal formula with a hand sprayer on folders that I occasionally use for food prep. Technically, ingesting a significant amount of the product can cause some minor stomach irritation and drinking a few bottles of it could then become a medical issue, but based on the quantity one would have to ingest, I've never considered it an issue with food prep tools.

I've also been reading a bit about LiquiFix as of late, and I've been meaning to give that a try as it sounds like it may be another excellent non-toxic protectant and IIRC it's actually NSF certified for food prep.
