I've been here a few months now and never knew there was so much to know about knives, or that so many people were into them. And guess what? Now I'm hooked. The thought of buying 2 knives (Benchmades) for a couple of hundred bucks would have seemed really crazy to me a while back. Now I'm hinking "money well spent"! Thanks, I've learned alot here.

I love this forum, of all the internet forums I have visited, this is by far the most informative. I rarely post, becuase most of my questions are asked by someone else. The one thing that I think seperates this forum from others is that you can trust the answers you get when you ask a question, the moderaters and some of the members are all so knowledgeable that you just know that what they tell you is the truth, and isnt bs like so many other sites on the internet. This has got to be one of the most mature yet fun forums out there, way to go everybody.

While I haven't been here very long, (lurking or posting) I can say this: A lot of good info is changing hands here. MAy that never stop. Some may not agree all the time. Some may have somewhat larger egos than others. Some more knowlege. We are all here with one thing in common, a passion for knives. So if a question seems kinda "dumb", It may just be a rookie knife knut learning the ropes. Let's help them out.

I bought a computer and came to this site on the advice of Les Robertson. I was just getting interested in knives and he said that the 'net was the best way to learn and procure the knives I was looking for.I was amazed at what was on this forum! Was here night and day for the first several months.
We've got something really special here, thorns and all. I hope I never forget that.
