Do you still have your first knife?

I can't even remember my first knife. I think I just enjoy buying, selling, using, trading knives, even the one's I collect don't stay collected. The only thing I don't like is losing knives, leaves a ugly feeling in my gut when I lose something as valuable(not cost wise) as a knife. I've broken more than a few, just hard use will do it sometimes, and I always have a band-aid handy. Tip: never sharpen the false edge on a butterfly knife....19 stiches later...;)

I still have my first fixed blade. It has been in my family since it was given to my great-grandfather as a gift. It was my grandfathers first knife, my father's first knife and my brother's first knife. It will be my kid's first blade, too.
It's a swedish made knife with a clip point blade of about 4" and very beautiful metal handles that have a lion's head as the pommel.

The poor knife has been beaten around and repaired innumerable times, but it holds on and still has a lot of life in it.

Still have my first knife, a Victorinox Camper, got it back in 1983 when I was 7. I still rotate in as a EDC.

I still have my first knife, a tiny POS lockback from China or pakistan, It was given to me by my parents after school one day when I was in Kindergarten or 1st grade. I remember how happy I was, and how it made me feel very grown up. The lockback doesnt work any more, but I still keep it for nostalgic reasons.
