Of the "hunting knife" group of Dozier knives, I think the Pro Guide knife is probably the best "camping knife". It is just long enough to permit it to split small wood, and is otherwise a fine cutting machine for everything a knife has to do around a camp.
I think Bob Dozier has got about the most bang for the buck out there in the category of custom users in small knives. When you move up to his larger "survival knife" series, the price doubles, and sometimes more than that. These knives are undoubtedly good too, but I can't afford one, so I can't speak from experience about them.
Like the previous post asked, when you say "camp knife" you could mean "medium sized utility" (the Pro Guide is perfect), or "large knife with chopping, prying, and digging capability." That would be something else again...
