Do you use fiber spacers on a take-down?

I wanted some darker spacers but I am afraid that fiber material is not resilient enough to stay aligned with the pins over the years with multiple assembling/disassembling?

Any thoughts?

Use something like 1018 and get it gun blued Patrice. Or cut/file lines into your pieces and darken the lines.
