Do You Use Your Karda?

I finally found a picture of an HI karda in what I would consider the "right" size, in this picture of the Millenium Rose Special:

That's about 4.5", I think, and would be better, offering a real alternative to the 2.75" blade of my Leatherman. (The chakmak, by contrast, could stay small.)

Now, here's the big question: would Hi make a karda in this size for, say, an M-43, if one asked? (And, presumably, would pay a little extra for the "customization"?)
For I've only been part of this group for a couple of weeks, and in that time, I've never gotten around to asking that simple question......

Nicholas Email Yangdu she can let you know if she has any available, and what it would cost to have one made if not.

In me experience, Yangdu and the Kamis are pretty much open to making just about any custome variation of a standard product.

I don't know if their generator problems are all gone, now, so it might take a while for a custom.

If worse comes to worse, I can take my bike over there, hook it up, and pedal-power something for them. At least I'd get to take a trip to Nepal! (Yes, I'm just kidding.)

Hey RR. Check on abebooks.com on the internet there was a book titaled pedal power back in the 70's it was on all kinds of pedal powered tools etc.
