Do you / would you BOB an XM?

Thanks again to all posting here. But it does really seem to be personal preference of both gear and storage.

I guess I just don't want my production XMs to be locked away where they can do me no good when I need them most.

If its TEOTWAWKI, why limit it to production XMs? The customs aren't more valuable at that point...

Then sir, they are a just a knife to you. I don't think the local law-enforcement, would take it from you, as we are law abiding. You have just reached the point of replace-ability, its cool though. I only swim at the gym in laps with goggles on... oops

It's all good. No wrong answers to this topic of folder in the BOB. Weight becomes a concern at some point and some decisions on what stays and what goes will come into play.

And my Hinderers are knives, but it's not as simple as saying they are "just knives". They hold a value to me and I'm not speaking only to dollars. The XMs suit my folder needs /wants very well.
Again, it's all personal preference.

Along these lines, time of year comes into play. I Always have an XM as my EDC.... BUT, in some months it may be a 3" slicer.
In my BOB would be an XM24 Spanto/Flipper for sure - So, my answer to N2K is YES:thumbup:

So if it were a survey...

It's a mixed bag of would and would not. But seems to be more a general question of would you place a folder into your bail/bug out bag...

It's cool to see how some feel about it.

Thanks to all.

I have a med and small sized bob. The med gets a fixed and folder. Being that I always carry an edc on me, I think it's good to have an extra or two for if you come across a friend who doesn't have one or whatever what if may arise. Most people around me don't edc a knife unfortunately as well :/ If I had a few more Xm's id definitely put one in.
