Do your folders deploy when dropped?

I did not test it intentionally but I remember..

Spyderco Tenacious and Military Linerlock falling on concrete from approx. 1m - blade 1/8 open to half open
Spyderco Tenacious and Military falling on the grass/leaves from approx. 1m - blade 1/8 open or closed, depending on impact
Spyderco Military falling on wooden floor from 1m - half open

Cold Steel Recon 1 Clip Point falling on grass/leaves - closed
Cold Steel Mini Lawman falling on anything - closed

Dropped both my Blur (no torsion bar) and my Lahar by accident and both opened up. The Lahar got a small ding in the edge. I have had assisted openers pop open when dropped as well.

Probably about 3/4 of my one hand openers have deployed at least a little bit when dropped, most have fully deployed at some point. I have to get pretty froggy at work (lotta contortion, squeezing through tight areas, sideways, even upside down on occasion) and my pockets will empty at times. The really smooth and easy openers have the highest offender status. I would LOVE to have a one hand opener slippie (probably out there somewhere... don't know where to find it) that would be firm when closed.
Dunno, maybe it's time for me to wear a belt and sheath my knives.

Not sure that I've EVER had a knife drop out of my hand. But I have had a few larger folders squirt out of the top of my pocket when I crouch down with jeans on. If they fall while I'm crouching I can't remember one opening, but if they hang on untill I stand back up, I can remember a Blur snap open, and Millie open partially. I'm sure it has alot to do with the angle of the knife when it impacts.

I have actually seen a few from time to time. I believe that there's a South African family making some one hand slip joints, Boker may have in the past, and some of the slippies on A G Russell's site may be one-handers. The more common ones open because of the concave end on the blade that replaces the point, but I need a sharp tip on a blade, not just a sharp edge. The ones I'm thinking about have a full edge and a sharp tip.

My Terzuola slipit is pretty firm, just dropped it on some carpet a few times and it didn't open. 2.5-3' high.
