Love the Doc Savage novels. Great escapist literature. As many others have noted, right up there with ERB (loved John Carter, never got into Tarzan).

Yep, I read all that stuff too. (Especially the Conan, Kull, Bran Mak Morn, Cormac Mac Art books/comics). Doc Savage also had a radio program back in the 30's and 40's. Michael Moorcocks books were fun too. So many books, so little time.
