"Doc" Shiffer punch knife prototype. Sorry, I don't recall what steel this is in (but I believe it's a carbon steel). Never used, carried, or sharpened, but it does have the usual kydex scuffs from sheath. Approximately 2.25" blade (2" cutting edge). The sheath it came with isn't perfect, but it does function fine. I just don't see myself using this one much, so back out it goes.

1/4" thick 1084, 6.5" blade, approx. 12.5" Overall length, brown micarta handles and thick orange liners.
I have not used this knife, and neither did its previous owner who had it custom made by Tobin. As far as I know, it's the only one of it's type. It's got a great feel to it and one of the best chopping handles I've felt. It feels like a cross between a hatchet if you hold it down by the butt and a cleaver if you choke up on it. It could chop your firewood and then make a mean sandwich. I think it'll make someone very happy. I got this knife off the trade forum and really like it, but the handle is a bit large in circumference for my medium-glove-sized hands. Comes with leather sheath by maker that somehow acquired a few light scuffs, but is otherwise also unused. I'm loathe to mess with a custom, but if this one doesn't sell soon, I'll happily sand down the handle a bit and use it myself.
