If you hadn't already noticed, I made a thread below regarding a missing package. The short story is, USPS misdelivered a package while marking it as delivered. I had contacted Bruce from doc's knife works asking if there was any recourse with the insurance on the package, or would it be something I would have to deal with entirely on my end? I received a prompt reply where he offered me a replacement knife or a refund, no questions asked. Given that the tracking said delivered, for all he knew I was trying to score some extra cash, but he gave me the benefit of the doubt something not so easily given nowadays.

Fast forward 10+ days and my post office sends me a BS email. I forward it to Bruce, but tell him that I'll still be trying to sort it out. Even so, he refunds me. Going even further I had noticed no refund of any sort despite being told I was refunded. I contact Bruce again and he told me the refund is currently listed as unclaimed. He gave my the paypal transaction ID and it turns out he slightly misspelled my paypal email. A honest mistake. I was able to sort it out with paypal myself and since then was refunded.

This is a great example of someone going above and beyond. For an individual who was completely void of fault of a mishap by my local PO, took it upon his own to make it right--even thought he was not obligated to. Communication was top notch and he replied to all my emails.

Whenever I'm in the market for a GEC I will always try to buy from him first and I implore others looking for GECs, to check him out to see if he has what you're searching for. As far as I can tell, he's a respectable man with great values running a honest business.

I agree.

He also has very good and accurate photos on his site with a very good range. As an international buyer, his delivery costs are on the higher side but he's very polite and diligent in his communication. To be recommended.
