Actually Dr. Bill has the nicest collection I have seen, but thank you for the complements which really should go to the makers.

I've seen plenty of Bill's pictures of his doctor's knives, but not a group shot. I assumed that it was probably a toss-up between the two of you.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. Not sure what it is about them. There seem so many more practical choices, but there's just something about them.

I would agree! There's just something... elegant?... sophisticated in simplicity?... to the doc pattern.

Here are some antique and modern production Dr. knives. Lot of different takes on the pattern are represented. Note the Utica Serpentine in pearl (middle column second from top.)
