Just wondering whether to get an exchange on my kershaw cqc3k the lick seems very easy to move with slight finger pressure both ways and there's now a bit a blade play think the face has had a little to much machining and I'm thinking under stress the lock could fail causing the scarily sharp tanto to lop my fingers off

I'm asuming a sloppy lock up isn't normal on a kershaw and iv got a bad one, arrived yesterday from heinnie
Love the compact and solid design I just think this one's locking dace has been over ground as it locks late like 75% but the bar can be pushed to 100%
Would you guys get it swapped?

Thanks

Chris

If you're not happy with it then contact kershaw and see if they can repair it or exchange it.

I got if from heinnie haynes uk who are very good basically can send it back and get it swapped with no hassle Id rather not find out the hard way at work if it closes on me and I'm on a customers site with trimmed pinkies lol

This is my first frame lock is it normal to be able to push the bar further from its locked position like further inward on the tang?

I don't think it's normal. It's not good and you can probably find a kershaw without this issue
