Hi guys,
So, I've been trying to actually EDC a knife and have been for the past month or so doing that with a Buck Bantam, and I hope to continue. But today in the mail, a Rat-1 I'd ordered awhile back arrived. I have one, but this one had fluorescent green handles (don't judge!
) that just looked really appealing to me so I got it. In hand, this Rat-1 almost feels bigger (though not heavier) and more filling than I recall the Rat-1 being. I am sure this is just a muscle memory reaction to having only held one knife for awhile, and my hand comparing it, as it were.
Sorta brings me to my question: Have you ever EDC'ed so long that getting a knife you already have, or switching to one you used to carry, feels almost like a new experience? This new Rat feels so good I might have to switch though I shall try not to. Just wondering if anyone else has ever gone back to older knives and found they felt almost new in hand. It's a good feeling.
