does any body read any more?

John Ringo's "The Eye of the Storm." Stirling's "Ice, Iron and Gold" for the present. Plus the relevant technical journals, of course. But nothing really serious! :D

Drinking and "wind" reading for me....

Someone called me a "social arsonist" once...

I had to look it up, I almost thought it was a compliment.

HOLY Crap Batman that redhead is very, very, attractive. (assuming others get the same advertisements I do.

Just finished King's "Dark Tower" series, second time.

Working on Bachman's "The Regulators" right now.

But no, I dont read...... :p

Is the Dark Tower the same as the Gunslinger series? I started those on book on tape, yep no reading for me, a while ago and would love to know how it ends.

Also as another cheat, I just 'read' Ann Coulter's Guilty on CD. The book I am actually reading is Grayhawk Adventures Book 3: Master Wolf, by Rose Estes. Books I am supposed to be readings are, The Truth About Love, by Tia McCollors and The Bible, NIV, by God.

Other than that, no I do not read.

There is a comic book run of Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow as well. They are being compiled into graphic novels now.

Orson Scott Card loved them, so...

Well, I read this thread and now regret it, I wished I had 5 of my stupid life back...

I is all cumfused here. What was it all aboutz cause I can not pick the magasine up????

Just finished re-reading Sartre's "Nausea", which bears a few ill-fated parallels with this thread. :barf:

On my nightstand right now is Doyle Brunson's "Super System". Before Sartre it was Dick Thompson's "Jung's Function-Attitudes Explained" and before that "Deer Hunting With Jesus" by Joe Bageant. Put this kind of stuff together with my BF fetish and no wonder my name tends to surface in hushed circles accompanied by discussions of early onset.

just got back to the computer, and i am still nursing a hangover from monday.

i was trying to be sarcastic with this post (and i was real drunk!). obviously it dosen't work the same on a computer. if i offended anyone my sincerest apologies. this hangover should be enough punishment. never listen to your buddy when he pull's out a jar and say's "try this, you'll love it". i agree the hg55 is a little old to be in the what's new section. also the wing's were fresh and hot, and so was my gut the next day.

another plus to this drunk post is i learned of some new book's i should check out. in the future i promise too try and refrain from posting when drunk, or with sarcasm.

lol... don't apologize, look at all the fun we had:D

nothing spurs more conversation than drunkenness:thumbup:
