• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Does any one know where to find these?

When I lived in Asheville I worked for Brevard Electric Co.The job I was on for over 2 years was at Sonopress which made cd's.Some of the trailors at the loading docks must have also been used by soft drink companies, because you could find the thingies that were blown into plastic coke bottles.I found 'em in two sizes, the bigger ones were about 5" long and about the same dia. as the opening of a standard coke bottle. The top was already threaded to fit a coke bottle screw top,and had the ridge that is right under it.All you had to do was put a coke bottle screw cap on it and it made a great waterproof, crushproof, place to put stuff in.I lost all the ones I had when I moved.Has anyone here ever used these things,or know where to find them?

You bet. I just picked up a bunch from County Comm. They are thicker than Coke bottles. They come with their own caps but I'm saving Coke caps now because they fit them watertight, too. I'm making up a pouch for a set of 5, so far: water, juice, honey.

Thank you Mr. Benyamin.I reckon that size is used for 2 liter bottles, the smaller ones for 20 oz.They are really thick and I can't imagine crushing one without running over it with a bus,or maybe having Rosie Odonnell sit on it,thanks again for the link.

I got a few at County Comm when I ordered my BOB. I am still not sure what I'll use them for, but I know they will come in handy.
