Does anybody have the new 110 Pro?

That really looks good, Makael. How do the fit and finish look in person? Is it $100 worth of good?

I was gonna ask the same thing. That thing just screams "work knife". My favorite handle material is wood, but that might have to join my crew.

This knife just makes me smile, and I've only seen pictures here! Well done, Buck!

It does scream work knife. Action is stiff, zero play. The handle has a great texture, you hand won't slip handling the knife. I love the brushed bolsters. Will look good for a long time.

Chevy used to use WT on models that were built as a work truck. Everything you need nothing you dont. This model of the Buck 110 is the WT of the line.

That's definitely on the list now. Those are awesome pictures Mike. Thanks for posting them :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Buy one boys, you won't be sorry; I guarantee it! OH
Ps Mike, just looked good at your picture - your knife blade was made in 2018, mine was made in 2017.

I like the look of it too-Now to make up my mind, which expensive 110 to buy, this or another custom(been wanting one with elk handle lately).

I’m really liking the Pro, I have several 110’s and 112’s including the new lightweight for everyday carry, but I’m tempted to put the Pro into daily carry, what do you think? use it or look at it.

I vote use it.. This was not designed to be a shelf queen..lol
Glad you like the knife.

Jeff

It's good looking and all, but I'm not gonna put g-10 on the shelf to stare at. That's made to be used and I can't wait until I have available funds for it. The first thing I thought when I saw it was....there's my next work knife.

Funny, I have a couple of standard grade Buck 110 Folding Hunters (2014 110 Anniversary edition and 2017 FONRA 25th edition) that I bought to keep and display. The 110 Pro sells for much more, but I see it as the ultimate working knife for an outdoorsman - already carrying mine in an old sheath, the new replacement Buck sheath is on the way as of yesterday. OH

I agree OH. One of my favorite things about Buck's are the natural materials used. I know it's just as much laminate as it is wood, but I dig it. That being said, the g-10 and the brushed bolsters are calling me for some reason. This one just looks like a tough 110.

I was trolling the bay for these and came upon a similar knife that I couldn't find last night. It had black scales(not sure of material) and an S30V bos drop point. I cant find anything like it on Bucks website or this years catalog. Anyone know what they are?

Sounds like a version Copper & Clad offers. I have the 112 version and it's black micarta. Check their site and you should find it. Pretty awesome knife....

Thanks Bear.
Looks that way and I prefer the drop point. I'm tired of broken tips. I was looking at my edc 2 dot in the fall as jeans weather was approaching and found it had a broken tip. No idea how or when that happened. I did find it after making my post, C&C were not mentioned and said limited edition and wanted to make sure it wasn't a fake of some sort(though if it was, it was the best I'd ever seen). Scales indeed listed as black micarta with pewter shield.

I decided to hold out for the auto version. Pretty happy I did, too!

I started carrying the brass auto a couple of days ago to see whether I liked the auto enough to go back to sheath carry.

Well... my LKS had finally got them in stock, so I picked one up. I opened every one he had in stock to search out the one with the best action and least amount of play and found one I could deal with. Unfortunately, every one has blade play when open. It’s locked up tight vertically but has lateral wiggle. It doesn’t bother me though. I just wish they could tighten them up.
FNF otherwise is terrific! Going to use it up!
