Does anybody remove their pocket clips...

The pocket clip is what got me really interested in knives. It seemed so much handier than fishing around in the pocket with the keys, chapstick and such. The only one I ever removed the clip from was my small Sebenza. It just felt better to me without it.

My one and only tactical is a Spyderco Viele. The back scale is designed flat, so the clip is well placed and provides good grip.
My other knives do not have clips. They are slipjoints.

I prefere belt pouch carry, so most of my folders do not have clips. The ones that have clips stay on.

As far as my preference is concerned, I can't imagine removing the clip on a tactical folder. This is one of the two main features that makes them tactical, and is, in my opinion, more practical than the other feature, one hand opening.

Tactical knives just seem to go together with those fugly clips. If I needed to remove a clip from one of these folders, I would much rather carry my nice-looking and well-made slipjoint folders instead, which I do quite often. Today my Schatt & Morgan swaybelly trapper rides the pocket.

Does anyone remove the clips off of their knives? You bet I do! I personally can't stand the things! Pocket clips are just plain wrong.
I don't even have the ability to put a pocket clip on my EDC. I made sure the knifemaker understood my feelings on pocket clips when I ordered my folder. I carry it in either a belt pouch or I just drop it into my right front pocket.
