Does anybody still make a knife like these little guys?

Shorter and thinner than a Barlow, but almost as much blade. I can't find anything similar from KaBar, Case, or Queen.

GEC #83 (but it's a lockback)
GEC #55 (but it's a dogleg)
GEC #25 (but it's quite a bit shorter blade)

Looks like you may have a great idea for a new pattern. I'd love to get something like what you've shown below made by GEC.

I'll be watching this thread for other responses! :o

The 25 looks a little bulkier, too. The RR is too tiny, as is the 22. I guess I'm lucky to have the KaBar and Robeson I've got.
These are 3" long by 3/8" thick, by the way, with 2 3/8" main blades.

I agree, those were nice little jacks, and I'd love to see someone come out with a new version.
Shaped like a #15, but smaller (not much longer than a #9 esquire) :

Oh wow I didn't realize just how small that was! That would be a great pattern!

I've never owned one, but a GEC #06 Pemberton might be close. Its frame is a little different shape, but I think it mightfit thus role. But they are very hard to get. I've been watching the exchangeffor one ever since I joined BF and I've never seen one.

I've got am old Valley Forge teardrop that fits the bill, but isn't in production. One of my favorite knives, beautiful F&F, materials, everything. Here it is in hand next to a SAK

How about something like a Case mini copperhead (3 1/8 in closed, I think) or a small canoe (baby butterbean is 2 3/4", IIRC)? Or do you want jack, rather than pen, blade set-up?

It's a smaller jack pattern. I haven't seen anything with exactly that handle shape, but Case, GEC, and Queen all have jacks smaller than 3.5" (GEC 15/TC Barlow length) with pretty good blade to handle ratios.

Thanks for the responses, and sorry I still can't multi-quote.

I have a mini-copperhead with wharncliffe main, and I have other small jacks, but what I like about these two is the breadth of blade, as well as the length of blade in a small package. I'm fascinated to have a blade only 1/8" shorter than a Barlow's in a handle almost 3/8" shorter and much thinner.

It's not like I really need another knife at all, and I do already have two of these, but if someone made one in a nice stainless it might be the one and only be-all and end-all. ( Like a few others I've got.)
