just remove the torsion bars and use the knives, they work much better manually in my opinion or just call up Kershaw, they'll send free torsion bars your way

This is JMO, but if I was storing knives to resell later I wouldn't open them, one to avoid risking tearing something up and to me a knife is no longer new if it has been opened or sharpened by anyone non factory.

I use Eezox. It dries to a ... dry ... finish. Look up how effective it is against rust by doing a web search.

I use everything I buy. For this reason, I like to buy used knives. The ones I do buy new, come out right away. I might keep the box, but it will not stay in it.

i have only two knives that i haven't carried. not because i don't like them, but i don't really feel like carrying them. they are great to look at.. and play with.. but i have more practical knives that i can carry.

Actually 54 boxes, 53 knives. 4 boxes are empty as they are in my EDC rotation. (Echelon, Piston, Knockout, and 0350KW)

Added a few new Blurs since this was taken. Love the Citi Card 0% apr until June of next year! Credit cards fighting for your business are sometimes your friend. lol

I like knives and mainly collect, but at least always carry one, preferably a duplicate or inexpensive one, that way I don't feel so bad about using it.

I think its better to keep the box and packaging, it protects the knife from scratches and dirty/dust n moisture. If you change your mind later and want to trade it or sell it it shows you cared that much more about it than the average guy. If you are going to use it and beat it up than keeping the packaging probably isn't necessary.

I used to collect anything that looked cool or had a cool new feature, but now I am kind of a steel snob. I go around finding the best knife in whatever various blade steel I am lacking.

If I used a credit card, I'd be neck deep in debt. Thankfully I've so far used my credit card only when I have have funds in my bank account.

But concerning how bad my habit is getting I have a feeling things are gonna change soon
