Does anyone carry a 305 Lancer?

Sorry for the hijack but may I ask if the sawcut scales are the same with the old models with brass liners?

Interesting thing about that one with the black sawcut. I've read before that the shield goes all the way to the liner, but here's one I have:

That's what I was thinking on the old ones the shield doesn't go all the way.
