Does anyone carry their RW in a SpecOps sheath?

I am trading for a Ratweiler, and I want to get the Spec Ops survival sheath for it. Seems like it would make the ultimate carry for a camp/survival blade. I'm not sure the sheath is wide enough though, just looking for opinions. :thumbup:

Hi tknife,

The Spec Ops sheath is a very popular one for the Ratweiler. However, the sheath needs a little attention before it will fit the knife. Here is a link with some information on molding the kydex liner to fit the Ratweiler. I hope this helps out.

I believe theres a couple of threads about this in the Rat Chat. They say you need to re mold the liner to allow for the extra thickness. But according to those who did it, its not very difficult to do.

Cool, thanks for the info guys! I've owned many Busse's and Rats in the past, still on the search for the holy grail, perfect woods knife And I'll post pics when I get mine set up.
