I got home yesterday and couldn't sleep, I was so very happy and just couldn't believe I saw what I saw, handled insane knives like the Moab and got to meet Amy, Garth, and lots of cool people from the board. I'm getting older and didn't think I would get exited about anything anymore but was up all night thinking and then when I was sleeping, I was dreaming about infi...
I must have gotten the swine flue...
Just wanted everyone to know how much fun it was and wished I had more money and there was a show everyday. It was a pleasure to meet everyone and can't believe how nice everyone was. I hope I didn't offend anyone cause I have a stupid sense of humor sometimes. I'm just trying to be funny.
I wished I got to meet the man Jerry but I'm sure we will meet one day. I'm sure he is cool as hell, because he picked one heck of a crew and it reflects well on him and his work.

Yep, know what your talking about.. not much gets old dudes excited... but Jerry's INFI makes me behave like a little kid on Christmas.. I used to get excited when a new firearm was coming in, but the night before and after the shows.. can't sleep. night before, i'm plotting what I'll be looking for, then when I get home after a show.. i go back in memory every knife I saw, and think about which ones' I should have bought..
These pics I've seen of easton, I hope are a new wave of Busse knives.. the solid bolts, I've really missed since the old A2 steel days, and I love the saber grind blades. Man, I hope to get a chance at these types of knives one day.. they scream old school all over the place.., and of coarse, why argue with success? Glad you got a chance to meet Garth, he's a hell of a guy... Haven't met Amy or Jerry yet either, but I also look forward to that day.. the Hogs and their farmer :-)

Great post, and I totally agree. It is nice to spend time with great people, great knives, and great customers. It's always a fun time.

Glad you had a good time at the show, now where are the pics?

:D:D

Drove almost 11 hours total yesterday. Never got sleepy. Was up for hours after I got home. STILL psyched. Yes. It's freaky.

The show definitely was a fun time. It was my first time meeting the amazing Busse crew and a bunch of the guys from the forum.

I wish I could have as much fun at work as the crew definitely does. Before going I would have said that the knives had to be the highlight of show, but the crew and the people definitely are right on par with them...

Thanks Amy, Garth, Woz, Beef, and I know I am forgetting at least one more name, sorry for making this a great show.

And it was great to meet some of the guys like Mr. and Mrs. East :-), OldPhysics, Jaxx, Skoocher, Woody, LiuKang, and everyone else.

Thanks again Jerry and everyone for a great weekend.

Yeah, we do get excited for these shows. At Blade this year, VoxHog, New Bob, and I were first in line, before 8:00am on Friday. For the next hour, every person that joined the line was a Busse fan. The show didn't open until noon.

Yeah I get super excited for the shows too - the opportunity to meet the gang, hook up some friends with a proxy, and buy knives to keep and use is just awesome

Do we get excited?? My wonderful proxies wife left me a voicemail yesterday saying he had scored the exact knife I was looking for. I have replayed the message about 5 times.

Yep, any Hog or Hoggette who has ever been to a show gets stoked, even if we can't get to the current one!

Busse has not only the knives, but the experience. Like hanging with family you didn't know you had! It would be a great company with just the excellent product, but the crew and the Boss Hog himself put it over the top!

Yep, any show with guns or knives gets me excited...but the Busse folk/knives make the show just that much better:thumbup:

Me and my buddy said screw the line this year and didn't get there untill around 11:45. As we walked in I saw you, Vox and many other Hogs in the front of line. I told him you had to get there crazy early!
4 hour wait:eek: Very Hog like for sure:thumbup:

Wonder who the very next person in line was??;)

It's not bad if you're drunk.

Drinking in line passes the time nicely.:cool:

Yeah, I wish I could have had a drink, but I had an hour+ drive home..

But it was still a lot of fun watching and talking with the crew and the other Busse fanatics...

Before coming to the Easton show I was a Busse fan.:) The day after coming to the show, something clicked, and I then realized, I am now an addict!
Cant wait till next year.
Thanks to everyone at the show for the great time.

No, I don't get excited for shows. Because they are all held in foreign countries, not here in the Good Old USA! (And by Good Old USA, of course, I mean Washington state, where I could attend).
