Does anyone else realize how much this forum sucks?

To save time, next time search with multiple keywords like: "ninja, tactical, zombie, combat, SHTF, only one knife, summer school activities"

1. Are you really bitching about waiting 10 seconds? 10 seconds is barely enough time to confirm that your search didn't find what you wanted, let alone enter new search terms. It doesn't seem possible that 10 seconds can slow you down, unless you're just randomly spamming the engine.

2. Bladeforums is not google. Searches cause enormous drain on the servers. Pretty much every forum I've been to has a wait requirement between searches. Up to a minute in some cases (BF in the past for example). 10 seconds is nothing.

3. You can, in fact, use google to search BFC, if you're that damn impatient.

4. Seriously? You're bitching about 10 seconds? I simply can't believe you.



If this forum sucks so much, why is it the largest knife forum on the web? Must be because it sucks...

Apparently, only you have reached this conclusion. Perhaps your superior wisdom would be more appreciated elsewhere. Don't let the door hit you in the bum.
 
Yeah right. What Steven and Jill posted seems to sum up my feelings towards this thread diplomatically. :D
 
The forum does suck. Thanks to you guys I have new water bottles and filters, back packs, water proof matches and match holders, fire strikers, probably 5 or 6 new knives, custom sheaths, hennessey hammock, back pack, plans for overnite hikes, pig hunting in the fall, etc, etc, etc.

Now if you could help me figure out how to pay my bills the forum would suck less.
 
Toughen up, Nancy. The world is full of much more aggravating and significant problems than a 10 second wait to search. Priorities, son, priorities.

The ten second thing might even be embedded into the forum software. But don't take my word on that, I tried to write my own coding for my website and after two days I went back to one of the pre-built formats... and I had to call Dell tech support to come and replace %95 of my laptop. There was an unfortunate incident, a kukri was involved, that's all I'm saying. :p

BladeForums is guilty of sucking... the money out of my wallet after I read about so many delicious new knives! Good info, great folks, site is well-run, no complaints from me.
