Does anyone have a liner lock or frame lock at 100% lock up?

My first run spyderco lum has been at about 90% for many years w/o movement.

I've got an old Spyderco Viele (not the more recent VG-10 version), which was my first Spyderco and also my first modern folder. I carried it exclusively for a good while and used it for everything (still looks great). No blade play, smooth opening and closing, but the lock bar is at almost 100%.

A friend gave me a beat to crap old Emerson cqc 7 to sharpen. It had 100% lock up and it was rock solid. I tried really hard to find blade play/ lock rock but it just wouldn't give. I was impressed

I have 5 knives with 110% totally wore out liners. Two Buck Vantages ,a Buck 181, a Buck 186 and an old Kershaw Task with TI liners that is a 2nd. All are still safe and useable for me. I keep meaning to send in the Bucks and see what they will do about it. Buck Pro Vantage is a nice knife that just doesn't last. The internal stop and the very soft liners work together to make this knifes life span very short.
My Buck Vantage Force Pro wore to 100% lock up after a few months. The detent keeps it at about 95% but the blade play is almost comical. It's been dubbed the rattlesnake. It's the only liner I have ever worn to that point. It does fail the light spine whack test, but no worse than it did when it was brand new with acceptable lock up.

Notice that nice even grind too. Probably the most expensive knife I've ever owned that I will say is outright garbage. It is pretty though.

Have a ten year old Emerson CQC-12 that has been at 100% since I got it new. After lots of use it still locks up tight.

My old C42 Viele has 100% lock up and had some play. Peened the lock and the play is now almost non existent.

I also have a Buck Vantage Force Pro that I sent back to Buck for blade replacement. The original blade locked up at around 25% and there was no blade play, but the thumb hole had been mangled and the blade was all scratched up. When I got it back, the lockup was 100% with lock rock. Pretty disappointing. I didn't feel like sending it back again, so I keep it in my glove compartment and don't carry it.

I have a crawford custom pointguard, lockup is about 75% which its tight but im not crazy about.i like the knife enough to keep it. I cannot stand 100% lockup & cannot live with a knife that does it. i see alot of buck vantage knives on here with 100% lockup,i had one too that had it so i got rid of it. i have a vantage pro with early lockup, & another vantage with 50% lockup. The 2 things i cannot stand is 100% lockup & a way offcenter blade when closed.i also had a camillus aftermath i bought on the exchange, the seller for some insane reason ground the lockbar face down. there was so much up & down blade play & 110% lockup it was rocking about 1/8" & he didnt tell me about it,either. luckily he took it back & i got a refund....

^ I think unfortunately the vantage is the king of the late lockups....

I have an old Kershaw CHive with 100% lockup and a bit of up and down wiggle. So many of the Emersons that show up on the exchange seem to come like this and is one of the reasons I haven't purchased one.

i have an old beater kershaw blackout that's at 100%, and it's still solid. no blade play, easy to disengage, and so on. so, yeah, still completely functional.

I already mentioned my Spyderco Viele, but I just remembered my LM Skeletool is at 100% as well. I haven't used it much, I guess it came with late lock up from the factory.
