Does anyone have a problem with the bk9 chipping.

Usually I see it happen when I hit dirt with mine or cement!
It'll sharpen out nicely however, they always do.

Am I the only one who noticed that Ethan Becker just posted his number and asked the OP to give him a call? Wow! I can't think of ANY other company where that would happen. That's just unbelievable!
Do you think Jerry Bussey or Sal Glesser would do that?

Geez settle down... And yes they both would.

i chipped my BK9 once by chopping a lawnmower in half.

oh wait, that was that other guy :D

double post double post what'cha gunna do? what'cha gunna do when Spark comes for you?

Uncle E posting up his number and asking to be called is...unheard of in this day and age. Period.

Correction, it is unheard of for Other people to stand behind their products like Mr. Becker. He does this often (thankfully) when there is an issue and he may be of service.

My 9 did not chip, but I actually got a bend in the edge during a chopping comp at the Scandinavian gathering we hosted this weekend.....
Must have hit a really hard knot and some sort og twist must have occurred..
Think I will have to try and hammer it out or something later....
You cant notice while using, but it will affect the edge when sharpening...

My BK9 came from a friend who compared it to his other Kershaw Camp 10 .. somehow both of them chipped slightly and he find the camp 10 a better chopper.

I wanted a more all rounder knives and BK9 has always been on my list of knives to get. I bought it over and swapped to a micarta handle scale. looking forward to give it more action soon.
