Does anyone have a source for brighter red g10 for liners at least .05?

Looking for red liners. Ive been using AKS ruby red g10 and I have some very thin red vulcanized fiberluners.

Is there any thicker (.05 or greater) in a brighter shade of red that anyone knows of?

I've been using 0.62" ruby from AKS too. It's not very bright, but when paired with something really light or really dark, it's quite nice. I've used it with white and black micarta so far, and it's always been a hit in those combos.

I tried the stuff from knife kits because it looks brighter red in the pics, but turns out it was just the same old ruby red unfortunately. You could try a different material possibly

I agree, finding a nice "red" liner is hard - most are more of a ruby red, dull red.... not the bright red I would like. Still looking for the right color myself. I did find a pink G10 liner material on USAKnifemakers site for a customer who describes herself as a "pink-a-holic" . I just hope it's a nice pink when the stuff gets here.

What about experimenting with construction paper making sure it's well saturated with glue.

Maker Material Supply has bright red opaque G10 but they're only .040"

I use them quite a bit.

Sorry that link gets you to the general area, it can be found under this heading: Electrical-Insulating Fiberglass Sheets and Strips

Thanks for the help guys! Maker material supply looks like they have the shade I’m looking for.

Be sure to ask where the G10 you buy is made, (not where it is distributed from).

There has been a huge influx of G10 from offshore companies. The quality does not come close to domestically made G10.

Chuck, I appreciate the input. Have you guys ever been able to get brighter shades of red?
