It's not on this year's discontinued list. I doubt Spyderco would discontinue one of their best sellers, dealer's can't keep them in stock.
That would be just a little strange!
A knife that for most of this year has had serious issues with supply vs demand, and is maybe the best knife for around the $100.00 range being discontinued, in it's most popular configuration, would be insane!!
I hope I don't get too much flack for this comment, but Spyderco should really try a bit harder to make more PM2's.....
I am not sure if it's a question of too many sprints and new models, or just the overwhelming demand, but they could surely do better than what I have seen this past year....
If their goal is to create an 'allure' surrounding the knife, I really don't see the point. Like I said, it will always be one of, if not the, best knife for that price range.
