Does anyone have Info on this Master Hunter Plus?

I just received a Master Hunter Plus with a factory black epoxy powder coat. It's blade dimensions are slightly different then the Master Hunter Plus that I already have. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I don't recall ever seeing a Master Hunter Plus with a black blade, though I may be wrong.

I'm thinking that it is from a small proto-type batch that never made it to full production! Comparing it to my old master hunter plus , there is no doubt that it is an authentic Cold Steel product.

Have you ever seen a master hunter plus where the primary grind begins at an odd angle just below the Cold Steel stamping?

Without seeing the knife in-hand it's impossible to say for sure, but there was a super-limited run of black powder coated models.
I don't recall how many we actually produced, but it was in incredibly small quantities.
They were Carbon V steel
If it's legit, it would be a very rare knife...
