Let´s not forget that this knife is a field/fighting knife. It´s not a safe queen nor a collectable.
The knife Glock produces (who make the knife themselves IIRC) met the requirements of the Austrian Army. It is light, bomb proof and easy to maintain. A bent blade is better than a broken blade when you´re in the field. And a HRC 65 blade won´t be any good if it chips or breaks the first time you hit a rock.
It is made for prying, digging, stabbing, throwing (it´s well balanced) hacking and even for use as a climbing foothold. Just to be replaced if it´s broken, because it don´t cost a premium.
Austrian Mountain troops ram them into the rocks and then step on them if no other means for ascending are available.
Which army would buy 300.000 field knives with a better quality, but 5-10x the price? Rule of thumb in litarally ANY armed forces of this planet: Want good gear? Buy it yourself.
Basically it´s what has already been said: you get what you pay for.
BTW: It´s only a half-tang construction, but VERY stable. Si just use the heck out of it, sharpen it on rocks or whatever, throw it away when it´s completely worn down. It will probably take many years. Then remember what you paid for it.
Get another one. Repeat deliberately.
