Does Anyone Have Sword Of Shiva Closeups...?

The YCS's inlaid areas look like arrows or lightning bolts to me.
Dan I've always thought the inlay represents lighning or flames, most likely lighning as Shiva is a God.
The YCS originally had copper and brass alternating in the inlay. I loved the contrast that the combination makes on the polished or satin finished steel.:)
If I'm not mistaken the Sword of Shiva is the single or double groove along the spine. It doesn't need the inlay to be traditional. But you probably already knew that. Ainnit?;)

Thanks, Yvsa; I was unaware that copper and brass were used alternatively for the YCS's Sword of Shiva. It's a nice touch, to be sure. The inlays definitely are more highly regarded by me and others than the plain engravings; the blades just scream at you when present.

kinda like racing stripes, or spots on a leopard......says "watch out! here I come!"

 :D
