Owen, thanks for the info. By live out of, I mean a good travel pack and maybe a smaller camping trip. I will go to S. America for 3 weeks and just carry a 1,600 cu in pack with all my clothes and gear. This is staying in hotels. I haven't checked a bag in years, including trips with business suits.

I don't really have an EDC bag, unless you want to consider the messenger bag I sometimes carry.

For camping for a week, I need about a 2,500-3,000 cu in pack due to food, tent, bag, depending on how cold it is.

So, the xray, although extremely heavy by my standards, seems like it can pull double duty since I can add 1,000 cu in to the pack with just one extra pouch.

Do you know the brand or can you send me a link? I have a similar one from Mil-Spec that has served me well...only gripe was that the shoulder straps weren't sewed closed so they'd fall out. I fixed that with some 1.5" plastic snaps so it wouldn't come off when I wore it.

I'm guessing condor, there quality sucks, I've had some of there smaller pouches and the stitching is terrible.
I've heard a few guys say they got a good one, but I've heard alot more about there quality and material not being that great.
But for $30.00 you can't complain much.

Its a knock-off Falcon II
