Does anyone here provide hardness testing services?

Hey guys and gals,

I am looking to make a couple sets of hardness testing chisels. In order to do so, I need to have each chisel tested so I have a reference when using them on a blade. I hand forge all of my knives and there is a distal taper going from ricasso to tip and ricasso to butt of the handle (creating that diamond shape). So, based on that, I would have a hard time using a regular testing machine (no flat surfaces). I've looked into the files, but my two concerns are that they are too far apart in their point increments (5 points) and that they wear out after a while.

It seems to me that chisels are the my best option at this point, because they can be made to have smaller increments and can be resharpened many, many times.

Anyway, I would pay to have 30-40 small pieces of 1095 tempered down to different hardness tested. Let me know if this is something you can do!

Thanks,
