Does anyone just like modern folding knives only?

Yes and no, generally I like modern folders. But I think Opinel's are pretty cool. I also like sak's, but that's about it. The Case's don't do anything for me.
 
I only carry modern folders but I do own traditionals. The downside to the modern folders I carry is the size but I understand that going in. I mostly keep a small traditional in my desk at work but I carry a modern folder daily for actual use. I use my other traditionals for (don't hate me) prying the back off of watches when changing batteries.

I'm likely to keep a traditional on a shelf or a drawer and keep a modern folder in my pocket
 
A few moderns but more traditionals. The largest modern I would carry would be the pm2. Anything bigger than that and it would be a fixed knife that I would use for camping, backpacking, or walking around in the woods. Traditionals look great and for me are more practical for the tasks at hand.
