Does anyone know a maker who makes one similar to the GEC Pony Jack

I've been searching around makers sites without much luck. The pony jack is a pattern I'm fond of and would kinda like one with modern steel for the blades.

Does anybody know a maker with a pattern pretty close to this one? And yes I know I screwed up the patina on the small blade. Going to flitz it and try again. But it's a user so it's no biggee.

I also posted this over in the knife maker forum too. Not sure if anyone looks at it though since there weren't any other posts. Dunno.

Thanks guys! Joe

Are you referring to factories or custom knifemakers?
I can't recall of any production made equal end jack in stainless steel (I assume that's what you're after).
As for custom makers, probably all of them would make you one to your specs.

Yes, a custom. The GEC model is very nice and the 1095 sharpens up like a razor. A few of the custom makers I've contacted seem to have their production models laid out and don't seem to want to deviate much from it.

For the price of the GEC, a custom wouldn't likely be prudent money wise. I'm quite surprised at the quality and the fit & finish that GEC has done with this model. The scales fit perfect and are nicely jigged, zero blade wiggle, good snap, and you aren't breaking your nails to get the thing open. Not sure how old this particular pattern is, but they picked a good one in my opinion. One with ATS34 or S30v would just be sweet. But I really don't have that much heartburn with the 1095. It's a proven performer now for years and years.

This is a question best posed in the "knifemaker services wanted". Moving there from Traditional.
