Camillus Cutlery - CUDA Sharkis SLIDE OPENING knife AUS-8 w/ Titanium EDC 19077. I can get one for 28.00 shipped. I like the looks of it but was wondering if anybody has any experience with one. I just like the looks of it. Thanks for you input.

I think with Camillus when they say TITANIUM!! they really mean titanium nitride coated blade. I've even seen them putting out in their literature that this coating somehow makes the blade 3 to 5x stronger than steel. Yeah right.

Aus8 is a good and underrated steel. I don't know who makes that knife for Camillus but they have good stuff. Should be a fine knife for 28 bucks.
 
The real Camillus went bankrupt a few years ago and the name minus the quality was sold and they are now made in China.

I don't have experience with anything since the sell off and it's probably not terrible. But I would expect a $28 knife and not much more. Hopefully others can comment further about recent quality.
