Does anyone know some info on this knife?

Paul-

I believe it was called the "tube knife" and was from an extravaganza. It was shipped in a tube, hence the name.

Mulder does know a good deal about them, and I believe Progunner (as mentioned above) had the same one with teeth.

The Jungle Assault SHBM is different, and is rarer, if I understand correctly.

Dan is right, they were a Extravaganza knife, I think there were 4 - 6 of them total. The one I got was used so I stripped off the coating, you can see it here next to some Jungle Assaults:

I have one of the "Grab Bag" mistresses also, like the one pictured except mine was without serrations, which is fine with me. You had to order "blind", betting your $300 that it would be something nice. To say I was blown away when I opened that PVC tube is an understatement. I felt that I could not go wrong betting on Jerry's integrity, and boy was I right!

I think that at least five of these were ordered. There may have been one or two more, I dunno.

According to Jerry, 23 tried to grab one and only 9 were avaliable. Two were ready and 7 others were yet to be finished.

I don't remember hearing who got the others or what they turned out to be.

Thanks guys! 'ducci, that's a nice pic of the SHBM's you've got! That stripped one would look cool with a Tialn coating. If any of you guys with the old SHBM's ever want to re-coat them the Tialn coating (titanium aluminum nitrate) looks very similar to the old flat black coating. I know there's a place out here in El Cajon called Mollecular Metallurgy that can put coatings on. I'm contemplating having a knife coated by them. I had a Tialn coated Benchmade that was pretty cool.

I heard there was a payload in Rancho Cucamunga? That's crazy! That's a couple hours from me! :D Does anyone know any of the clues or know how to find them? I also heard there's a $500 tag in San Diego, correct?
