  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Does anyone know the history of the SOG seal 2000?

Like I said it’s such a great river/lake kayak knife as I live inn fresh water so corrosion has never been a issue with it and the sheath for line and serrations it’s a cool knife. I wanna say it was 60 bucks or so when I bought new.

I sold my two Seki Seal Pups years ago. I now carry a Taiwan Seal Pup often when I go fishing.
Looking around the bay it looks like a Seki Seal Pup is worth about twice what a Taiwan Seal Pup with
Kydex goes for.

I have early Seki versions of both the Seal pup and a Seal 2000. The pup is my user and have had atleast 25 years. The big one I will use if needed but its a nice one. I will never part with either.

Those are both great knives, worthy of keeping.
