Does anyone like Gerber?

I have liked Gerber ever since i got my first MK II back in the '80's. i have owned and still own a large collection of Gerber Knives and tools. im still looking for my Holy Grail of Gerbers , one of those BIG Bowies with the coffin handle. i get me one of those and i'll be a VERY happy boy.

I also was lucky enough to get to an outdoor store closing on time to buy a large Gerber sign, black background with Gerber and the logo in raised gold letters. looks awesome in my basement.

I did not like my mystery metal Gerbers like the Gators as they would not hold an edge. My Bucks would hold edges better. Though the Mark 1 is OK. The multi-tool works well. Though my first Gerber multi-tool would freeze and not open. Some Gerbers with good steel would probably be nice, but I switched to Benchmade, Cold Steel and Spyderco for my knives.

I have a Gerber 06 Auto in S30V that I EDC and I absolutely love it. Its a bit heavy, but I don't mind it. Its quick to open and rock solid.
I also have the LMF II in s30V and love that one too. It dosen't get used much outside of sitting in my BOB or for camping. Both are USA made in Oregon.
The only other one(s) I carry is a victorinox on my keychain and a delica 4 in my back pocket. But the gerber 06 is just...awesome. And its not one of the new ugly ones...its the old school all metal military ones.
