I own a pool cleaning business and between the chlorine, muriatic acid and salt, my blade takes a beating. I'd like a blade made out of H1 but I'd also like a flipper and a lock I can close easily with one hand. Does such a creature exist?

No. Unless spyderco has one coming up? Havent seen h1 used by anyone but spyderco. Anyone seen other makers use this steel?/metal?

Spyderco does have a H1 blade called Salt H1. I think there's a few in that line like Salt reg, H1 and the Pacifica.

Benchmade has its H20 line which it offers in the mini Griptilian and a few other.

I've read the H20 line holds up better in Salt water climate.

I have four Spydercos with the H1. Of course they don't meet the flipper criteria you want, but I can easily open and close them with just one hand. Especially the 3" model Salt 1, it seems to fit me well for one handed operation. And they do love water.

The Spyderco H1 is better than the Benchmade H20 because the hardware on the BM rusts.

The Syderco hardware does not rust and I believe that the clip is also made of titanium on the H1.
