Does anyone make a K-bar style with a full flat tang?

Are you referring to a Kabar USN MK2-style knife with a full tang?

I don't know that int has a full tang, but it does have a bonded synthetic handle that seems to be about as stoutly done as a Gerber Mk-II which has a stub tang . . .and no one feels that the Gerber construction is weak.

I do not think that anyone makes what you are looking for. Outside of that, there is a plethora suitable, Ka-Bar like knives available, many of which have been suggested here.

An alternative might be to get aUSN MK-2 ant replace the stacked leather washers with cast-in-place aluminum.

Generally speaking, if you keep in mind the k-bar is for stabbing, your boot is for throwing, and your e-tool is for digging you won’t run into too many problems with the wimpy tang on your standard k-bar.

For me, full length tang only needs to be full length of the palm, or the length that you actually use the knife. It doesn't need to be all the way out and visible to the butt end. Full length to the end doesn't make the knife that much stronger and feel unnecessary heavy (well, for many, heavy fellong is quality feeling). Same thing with tang width.

I do have full length and width tang knives, but my hand is small/medium, so it doesn't matter as much as a bigger knife handle like the Ka-Bar.

Putting that all in consideration, I would recommend the Buck 120, which is kind of the style that Ka-Bar based on in the 1st place.

I don't think I saw mention of the OKC-3S Marine Corp Bayonet. If you can find one, be sure it's genuine.
