I have been looking for some 1/8th inch micarta pin stock but have not been able to find any on sites that I checked, so does anyone know where I can find some? Or anything that isn't black. thanks.
could a mod fix that misspelling in the title?

You can get it at McMaster-Carr. Search for garolite rather than micarta. Garolite is the industrial name.

If you are looking for fiberglass rod, Goodwinds can't be beat. You'll have to google them.

If you know someone with a lathe they might turn you some out of some stock you have, just saying, I do this sometimes.

I haven't seen pin stock in white micarta/phenolic at the knife supply houses. The last time I needed white pins for a project, I used a ivory micarta block and a hole cutter to make some short pins. It works OK as long as you keep the drill speed down to avoid burning the micarta (white/ivory tends to burn easily). My pins didn't turn out very precise in terms of diameter, so I had to sand them a bit after cutting them out.

Another choice is to go with contrast. I often use 1/8" black CF rod as pins. It is super strong and finishes well. I find 1/8" garolite/micarta a bit weak as a pin/rivet.

Thanks Andy that looks nicer than micarta and is 1/6th the price! do you use fiberglass pins on your knives?

No. I use canvas mi arta pins. They blend better and are plenty strong. I've put them in more than 1000 handles.
