Does anyone own a Lothar Berg slipjoint?

What are his knives like ie. steel, scales, fit and finish, etc?
Would anyone know his address and or phone # Lothar Berg of Kitchener, Ontario Can
I saw one of his slipjoints in Knives Illustrated and would like to talk to him about one of his knives. Thanks

I have spoken with and watched the knives made by Lothar Berg for a number of years when he would come by the Canadian Knife Collectors Club shows and following that when he'd come by the Canadian Guild Shows.

He is not a full time knifemaker but began to make knifes primarily to test his machining skills and for his own personal sense of creativity.

From the time I saw his first knife until his last, his work was as good in fit and finish, design and overall excellence as any folder maker in the world. To put it very succinctly, his work is absolutely outstanding.

When I last spoke with him at the April Canadian Guild show, he was only just starting to part with any of his creations.
