Made some knives, somewhat similar to a couple of Busse knives, but then had a series that stood apart? It is making me crazy. Heavy thick blades, but came with a leather sheath. Getting old sucks...

We've ALL been there, or will get there. Sorry, bro, that's just not much to go on. Mineral Mountain Hatchet Works, maybe?
 
That is what I am finding. BTW Bill, I still have the blue handle bushknife you made. My son had it for hunting but has stopped hunting. Great knife.
