Does anyone still stock the old style Delica?

Best Knives ...seems... to indicate (by picture) that their C11PBK is the older pointier slightly smaller Delica which is what I would like to purchase.
But that number indicates it is a Delica 4 which is not the one I want.
Anyone know of a source for an older one (not that long ago) with the plain edge? I have the serrated and would like to add a plain.

Thanks.

I think that number corresponds to the PE Delica with the ats-55 steel and molded clip.

Larry,
I have found that a lot of people still have the Endura and Delica 3 pictures but are selling the 4 model. I have only seen them on ebay as of late and rarely New in box, sorry. I don't believe that number says anything about blade steel. It stands for plain edge delica with black handle.

Thanks all. I just found one in an eBay store and ordered and sent Paypal. I questioned seller that it was Gen 3 and VG-10 and he had a few.
I should have ordered one a long time ago, but as par for course figured that they would always be around. I like the 3's better than the 4.

Should soon be a happy camper.

Have you personally tried the 4's or are you basing your opinions on pictures?

The number one mistake to make with a Spyderco is to judge it by looks and not in hand use. :)

if the steel isnt too important to you, you could look at the salt line. the H-1 is awesome stuff, but its obviously not exactly the same as VG-10. The point is a little different too, but its basically a delica/endura 3 and easy to find.

I like the design of the Delica 3 better; but I think the D4 is made better.
Definitely feels more solid in use.

I have the 3 in serrated. I like the size and the DELICA-te tip. I know...don't drop it point first. The 4 is a bit chunkier and the handle is a bit longer. Just ole fashioned I guess.
;)

I have a couple of the PE Delica 3, and three of the SE Delica 3.

Very often one of each are my edc.

Bought a Delica 4, think it's made better than the 3; still the 3 is made well enough and as I mentioned I like the design much better.
Sold the Delica 4.

BUT...Finally decided I like the Endura 4 better than the Endura 3.

Somehow, though, I doubt this will happen with the Delica; the D3 is one of my favorite small knives of all time.

im a newer spyderco fan, sadly i showed up to the party right as the e4/d4 came out and was not able to get my hands on one of the older generations knives. even though the current versions are much improved, i would have liked to added some of the older models to my collection.

sadly, i spotted two delica 3s at the army surplus store a few months ago and didnt have the money to buy them right then and there. when i went back a week later they were both gone :(

the salt knives dont seem as aggressive looking as the older endura/delicas.

I tried the Delica 4 but sold it. I prefer the 3 - I have one in ATS-55 and one in VG10.
I found the 4 too "screwy".

The 4 may be stronger, but the 3 is strong enough for whatever I will ever use it for.

I think that's as well as I've seen it put. I have heavier duty knives for my regular ninja wetwork and cutting my way out of Blackhawk helicopters, but my ole skinny and "plenty strong" Delica 3 is lighter, thinner, and usually with me when I assume my private identity as a citizen goof.

:D

If I wanted "stronger" I would get the Native. The D4 and the Native sorta overlap, IMO.
